Heritage Open Day Event and Cream Teas at Lassington Tower

Our annual Open Day at Lassington Tower. We will be serving tea/coffee, cream teas and an array of delicious cakes. This year we are delighted to also be holding a short open-air service in the churchyard alongside the tower, at 2.30pm accompanied by a brass band.

As part of the Heritage Open Days scheme, we will be giving attendees a rare opportunity to take a peek inside the usually locked Tower to see the monuments hidden inside. We will also be celebrating the voluntary work and generous donations which have made excellent improvements to the churchyard, including our new bench, a “Wild Highnam” pollinator patch and increased access to the monuments in the well-maintained churchyard.

Come and enjoy the pretty churchyard, surrounded by idyllic views, at this lovely tranquil and unique site. Money raised will go towards the maintenance of the churchyard and the Tower.
