Explore Nottinghamshire’s links to nobility, impressive architecture and unusual art.

The first visit of this coach tour will be the church of St Peter's, Clayworth. This beautiful Grade I listed parish church was built between 1150 and 1180 and is regarded as one of the finest village churches in the county.

Following this we will visit St Nicholas' Church, Littleborough. This tiny Norman church lies down a quiet country lane, close to the Trent. The Norman doorway and massive chancel arch are particularly interesting features.

The next stop will be at the impressive Milton Mausoleum, Newark. A splendid classical building with its domed tower that was designed by Sir Robert Smirke for the 4th Duke of Newcastle as a mausoleum for his wife

The final visit on the tour will be at St Peter's Church, Gamston. A medieval treasure saved by George Gilbert Scott. The 14th century tower boasts a complete ring of six bells of exceptional significance.
