A talk at St Peter's Church, which places it in its archaeological and historical setting
Take a look around this magnificent historic church, with its stunning Norman architecture and rare and important features like its 13th or early 14th Century cross slab.
There will be opportunities to handle replica objects and view real medieval objects from Heritage Doncaster’s Archaeological collections, up close between 12:30 and 4:30.
From 2:30-3:15 Peter Robinson, Curator of Archaeology at Heritage Doncaster will be giving a presentation on the Archaeology and history surrounding St Peter’s Church, providing an insight into the importance of this church to the local area.
