Popular chamber choir “Accorde” visit St John’s for the first time with a recital of music set to English poetry.
Andrew Foxley conducted Accorde Chamber Choir in part-songs and anthems set to English poetry. The concert includes settings by Elgar, Parry, Stanford, Purcell, Barber, Rutter and many more. There is no finer venue to hear choral music than the beautiful medieval surrounds of St John’s.
Doors open at 2.30pm. Refreshments available for a donation. Admission free with a retiring collection on behalf of St John’s Church.
