CCT is looking for a new CEO

03 Mar 2022

CCT is looking for a new CEO, somebody with the creativity, imagination and strategic abilities not just to ensure that the CCT is well led and runs like clockwork, but to deliver its ambitious objectives by providing inspiring leadership to our committed team so that the organisation can reach out to communities that have an at-risk church in their midst, can help create bodies of support where often none currently exists and can develop new ideas for breathing life into these fantastic but often underappreciated heritage buildings.

The CEO will work with the Chair and Board of Trustees to provide strategic direction and to lead and manage the organisation, its 70-strong staff team, 2,000 volunteers and multiple stakeholders across England. Supported by a talented senior management team, they will provide inspiration, direction, and support to the diverse, multidisciplinary charity, ensuring CCT has strong relationships with government and other key decision-makers in London and nationally.

They will raise the charity’s profile and income, working closely with a wide range of partners and stakeholders including the Church of England, the Church Commissioners, Government and others. And they will set and deliver a strategy that both secures the future of the collection and demonstrates CCT’s wider offer to the religious heritage sector.
