Farewell to our Chief Executive
From Old Kingsbury on bicycle wheels
Riding bumps and potholes t’ward church bell peals
With acrobats and long-eared bats we strove
To inspire, protect, create. We wove
Through country lanes, to Doddington, at last
To celebrate our future and our past.
Crispin Truman OBE has been Chief Executive of the Churches Conservation since 2003. In August, he will depart from the Trust to take up a new role with CPRE. Through his leadership, ambition and dedication over the past 14 years, he leaves the Trust resilient and well-equipped for the future.
Staff, past and present, thank Crispin for all he has done for CCT, historic churches, volunteers and communities and wish him every happiness and success in his new post.
