Join us for a day of performance, food and conversation celebrating the hamlet’s amazing links with CR Ashbee, the Arts and Crafts movement and the English Renaissance.
- Shakespeare on Love directed by Caroline Gawn 2pm and 5.30pm The Choir of Exeter College, Oxford join forces with stars of stage, film and television Michael Maloney, Emerald O'Hanrahan, Golda Rosheuvel and Owen Teale bringing alive the words and music of Shakespeare and his contemporaries. Organisers note that under certain circumstances the cast may necessarily differ from that advertised.
- Memory: a talk by Edmund de Waal 4pm Spend an hour in the company of leading artist and writer Edmund de Waal CBE.
- Late Summer Supper 7pm As the sun goes down behind the Cotswold hills, retrace Ashbee and the Guildsmen’s steps to the rectory to enjoy cocktails specially created by our sponsor The Cotswold Distillery followed by a dinner of locally sourced food and wines.
