Experience internationally acclaimed Patrick Walker Trio playing at Littleborough Unplugged! Founded in 2013 in Zagreb, Croatia, this exceptionally accomplished trio, Patrick Walker, Hrvoje Sudar and Ivan Bilić, came from different bands and musical genres, united by a shared love of Irish traditional music. Their repertoire now encompasses ballads and folk songs of Ireland, Scotland and England together with instrumental dance music (jigs and reels). The Patrick Walker Trio has performed in England, Norway, Holland, Italy, Hungary, Austria, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia at prestigious venues and festivals.
Ar Faoued founders, Paul Chisnell and Ady Hall, have played together and in separate bands since the seventies. With rock band, Haze, Paul played venues such as Sheffield City Hall and the Marquee in London he then played in acoustic bands and supported the likes of Martin and Eliza Carthy and Vin Garbutt. Ady played in 3 Legged Cat for many years and has increasingly focused on song writing. When Paul and Ady got together again as Ar Faoued they were joined by violinist Rob Jourdain who has played in the US and Europe. This talented band perform a variety of songs and styles, both covers and originals.
This is the first concert of a season of acoustic music concerts taking place through the summer months, featuring the best of regional and national performers are being held in the Norman Church of St. Nicholas, Littleborough; an acoustically and aesthetically excellent intimate venue. Concert proceeds support the Churches Conservation Trust.
