Dance Showcase in St Mary’s Church

The Dance Showcase in St Mary’s Church will feature some of the performers from the John Weaver Dance Festival. 

St Mary’s is a magnificent church with wonderful stained-glass windows, in particular the amazing 14th-century Jesse Window.

This was originally in old St Chad’s Church where Weaver was buried in 1760. The window would have been in that church when Weaver worshipped there. A lovely connection for this special occasion.
