Heritage Open Days - Roof and Tower Tours at St Swithun's Church CANCELLED
St Swithun's Church, Worcester, Worcestershire
"In light of the sad news of the passing of Her Majesty the Queen, CCT will be cancelling this event in line with the Government Guidance on National Mourning. A virtual CCT Book of Condolence will be available for people to sign online, details of which will shortly appear on our website. We hope people will feel able to use our churches as places for quiet reflection on the life of our wonderful Queen."

This tour will take in the parts of St Swithun's not normally seen. We will explore the roof space above the nave, the bell-ringing chamber and it's protection marks and then go up the tower and out onto the roof with fantastic views over Worcester.
The tour takes 1 hour. Participants must be reasonably fit due to the steep staircase and wear sensible clothing and sturdy shoes. There are uneven steps in the 15th century tower and an adventurous exit to the roof of the tower. Tall people must be aware that one chamber has a very low ceiling. We regret that small children can not take part in this for safety reasons.
Doors open: 10:00-16:00 / Tour times: 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00
Each tour is limited to 6 people. Tours are free as part of Heritage Open Days. To book your place on a tour please click here
