Probably York's premier gargoyle themed band - local band, Gargoyles in the Rafters, are an alternative rock group that likes to perform in ancient churches and enjoys tailoring their sound to these beautiful and reverberant spaces. They span a wide range of themes and influences from angsty rock to melancholy ballards.
