Aa special night of live music when the Friends of Brockly welcome multi-instrumentalist Nicky Murray, down from Glasgow, to share his original, captivating songs with us. Nicky Murray launched his musical career in 2014 with his debut album “Plenty More Weeping” and is known for his evocative lyrics, raspy vocals and deft fingerpicking to create a spellbinding lyricism. 
 
His new album ‘How Long’ has just been released and has been featured on BBC Radio Scotland’s Roddy Hart Show where it was Roddy’s record of note. 
 
 The Rocking Magpie publication described it as “Deceptively simple modern folk songs with a tragic Celtic edge, he obviously writes from the heart and is a keen observer of the world”
