This Heritage Open Day, discover more about the extensive repairs and building conservation work at this historic Cornish church. Get creative, explore its important artistic links, and create your own piece of art inspired by this stunning church.

Inside the grand Grade I listed St Torney's Church that sits proudly to the east of Bodmin Moor can be found splendid monuments, beautiful woodwork and superb examples of fine craft skills.

This Heritage Open Day, the Churches Conservation Trust will showcase some of the building conservation work that is currently been undertaken at St Torney’s Church since coming into the care of The Trust in 2022. There will be family arts and craft activities (for all ages) to discover and explore the important artistic links that St Torney’s Church and its community has.

This event will also be an opportunity to share thoughts and ideas about how St Torney’s can be used in the future and we want to hear your memories and tales to help tell the story of this church and its community for future visitors to this beautiful part of Cornwall.
