Who can find all the mice hiding in Holy Trinity Goodramgate?

This is one of two events that we are advertising through York Ghost Week – the main event during ghost week is a hunt around the Minster and surrounding streets for tiny ghost statues that are crammed into cracks around town. People then hunt for them by torchlight.

The ghost statues can be frustratingly difficult to find – particularly for families with small children. This led to the introduction of our mouse hunt to give those doing the Ghost Hunt with small children a break and the chance to chalk up an easy win. Always atmospheric and full of history, for this event the main body of the church will be lit by candlelight.
