A day of quiet, contemplative calligraphy in the special ambiance of an Anglo-Saxon church by local calligraphers who are keen to share their love of ancient alphabets.

What makes Uncial artificial and why did Carolingian become so widespread? Visitors will be able to talk to the scribes in the church and see examples of some of these rare scripts.
