Charlie Haylock is the best selling author of Sloightly on th' Huh! and A Rum Owd Dew!

A regular guest on Suffolk Radio, Charlie is not just a master of the Suffolk dialect but he has the ability to speak in a variety of English dialects which is all the more interesting because he understands how each one is produced.  His talks are enlightening, informative and very entertaining.

Charlie was the dialect coach for Ralph Fiennes and the other "Suffolk" actors on the Netflix film "The Dig".  A film based on a novel with the same title about the famous Sutton Hoo burial ship and the people involved.
