Suffolk: Little Wenham Walk

Discover two churches starting in Capel St Mary and hidden historic treasures of All Saints Church and Wenham Castle.

A scenic circular walk where you can visit two churches.  St Mary’s in Capel St Mary and All Saints in Little Wenham.  The 13th Century Church of All Saints is hidden up a track past one of the oldest houses in England.  The walls behind the altar are alive with medieval paintings.

A moderately easy walk of 3 miles (5 kms) with some narrow and uneven sections which can be muddy after rain.  Will take approx. 1 hour to walk.
