Norfolk & Suffolk: Walk the Boudicca Way

An 8-mile circular walk exploring the Norfolk countryside

The Boudicca Way is a long distance footpath which runs for approximately 36 miles between Diss and Norwich. The trail is named after the legendary warrior Queen of the Iceni, whose tribes once inhabited South Norfolk and the Waveney Valley.

This 8m circular walk below takes ramblers along part of the Boudicca Way near Diss, and takes in local heritage sites, including two of our churches at  St Andrew's Church, Frenze and St George's Church, Shimpling.

Simple 13th-century church sits prettily in a farmyard setting. It has a Tudor brick porch and a bell-cote.
