Opening times

Access is via a key held at the Patshull Fishing Pools clubhouse, between 10am & 3pm Wednesday to Sunday. Follow the brown signs off the A464 for Patshull golf course. Please be aware the access road is an unmade track & potholed. Car parking is available at the clubhouse with the church a 20minute walk, you may wish to park your car and walk to the church through the former estate of the hall designed by Capability Brown. About this Church

A family church for Patshull Hall

A handsome sandstone church built by James Gibbs in 1742 for Sir John Astley, beside a lake in the picturesque grounds of his home, Patshull Hall.

The interior contains impressive sixteenth and seventeenth-century memorials to members of the Astley family.

A contribution can be made towards the conservation of the church by texting PAT to 70970 to donate £5, or 70191 to donate £10. Thank you for your support

Access information

Access to the church is via the Patshull Park Hotel and Golf Club along a service track that runs alongside a number of golf greens. Car drivers are obliged to 'give way' to golfers playing their shots. The track is unmetalled and potholed in places with parking available just below the church. The path through the churchyard is grass.

There are steps up to the main door and steps inside to chancel and altar

Facilities & Hire

Due to the historic nature of our buildings, only a very small number of them have heating, running water and toilet facilities. The lighting is usually operated via a 'push button' timer or a motion sensor.
