About this Church
Beautiful medieval wall paintings
This is an isolated church set in meadows beside a farm, with an attractive Norman round tower that has a conical tiled roof. Inside, St Mary's boasts a series of beautiful fourteenth-century wall paintings, elegantly rendered in shades of grey and ochre depicting St Christopher and scenes from the Seven Works of Mercy, as well as the Ten Commandments. There is also a thirteenth-century font and a seventeenth-century pulpit.

Parking on grassy area in front of church. One large step down into chapel.
Facilities & Hire
Due to the historic nature of the building there is no heating, running water or toilet facilities. The church is lit with natural lighting.
