A perfectly modest parish church
Built in red brick with contrasting bands of black brick, St Helen's stands on a mound near the centre of an attractive village.
This charming Victorian church with its vibrant stained glass and elegant spire is in the style of the early fourteenth century. It was considered to be a model for parishes of modest means.

Due to the historic nature of our buildings, only a very small number of them have heating, running water or toilet facilities. The lighting is usually operated via a 'push button' timer or a motion sensor.
