They're here!

Our Building Guide booklets have been designed to give readers some insight into the many stories different parts of the building have to tell. If you've ever wanted to join our free monthly building tour, but haven’t managed yet, now you can take yourself on your own self-guided tour with this handy little booklet. Printed in full colour with beautiful photography from Bo Willow and Ken Drew, the booklet is a fantastic memento of our time in this space and serves as a piece of real-world legacy for the Project.

We'd like to thank Andrea Errington and Anna Longville for contributing illustrations; Peter Connor, Bill Dove and Ali Myers for their research and shared knowledge of the building; John Knox for writing and Pat Bell for editorial oversight; Lulu and Posy Jowett for their efforts designing the layout and putting all of the finishing touches together; and everyone who has contributed in their own way to helping build this comprehensive picture of how things came to be as they are today. Thanks also go to our funders: The National Lottery Heritage Fund; The Benefact Trust; Sunderland City Council; Churches Conservation Trust; and all of the individual donors who have supported our work.
